We Got The Sauce
Yard 2 Yard was established in 2020, and has continued to move in strength. The founders of Yard 2 Yard were born and raised in Jamaica, with a traditional, fresh and vibrant approach to cooking Jamaican cuisine. We have a wide range of experience in weekly takeaways, catering intimate & large events, and street food vending. We are extremely proud that we’ve delighted our customers with innovative, delicious food. Whether you’re too busy to cook, want to throw a dinner party or the event of the century, we’ll make food that looks and tastes amazing.

Food is always the core part of any event and we were very impressed with the food from Yard 2 Yard. Being from the Caribbean ourselves it's so important that we had food that wasn't watered down or wasn't representative of our culture. The food was flavoursome and delicious and catered well to my vegan and vegetarian guests too. In addition the food was great value and plentiful and lasted 2 events. Including several takeaway containers. The addition of jerk sauce bottles was a lovely gesture too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. Loved that they provided lots of peppers and onions with the fish and i personally loved the mac and cheese.

As with using any vendor for the first time, it can be worrying. Especially when it comes to the food of a dinner party!! The feedback i had seen was positive and so i arranged for a friend local to Yard 2 Yard to purchase one of their delivery lunches... I received the desired feedback regarding attitude of the person who delivered and the food left me refusing the requirement of a napkin... i was happy licking my fingers. Moving Forward, i found them extremely courteous and helpful. Quotes were provided in a timely manner. Correspondence was extremely professional. When questions were asked to establish how much of the event they could assist with, their answer reassured me on this particular event and confirmed they will be more than capable of catering on any level. From intimate dinners to silver service events. On the day, they were punctual and reliable. They were so supportive and personable. I honestly look forward to working with them again.

Thank you and your team for Saturday evening. The food was exceptional! our guests enjoyed the selection- from the kids to the adults- "that was sooo nice." and "I've taken home my Sunday dinner." Just a couple of comments that echoed throughout the evening. What more can we say. We will definitely be using your services again.
